His Feet On the Mount of Olives
Luke 24:50-51 (NET): Then Jesus led them out as far as Bethany . . . he departed and was taken up into heaven.
Acts 1:9, 12 (NET): . . . while they were watching, he was lifted up and a cloud hid him from their sight . . . then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called the Mount of Olives . . .
Acts 1:11 (NET): This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw him go into heaven.
Where will Yeshua return? The answer, it seems, is to the Mount of Olives next to the old city of Jerusalem.
And this is all the more interesting since we read in Zechariah 14:4 that during a time of many nations attacking Jerusalem (a battle known as Armageddon):
Zechariah 14:4 (NET): On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives which lies to the east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, leaving a great valley. Half the mountain will move northward and the other half southward.

One of my favorite text in Scripture. When Zechariah 14 is fulfilled, no-one will question who the Messiah is.
1 See, a day shall come for yhvh, and your spoil shall be divided in your midst.
2 And I shall gather all the nations to battle against Yerushalayim. And the city shall be taken, the houses plundered, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into exile, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 And yhvh shall go forth, and He shall fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which faces Yerushalayim on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, a very great valley, and half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.
5 And you shall flee to the valley of My mountain - for the valley of the mountains reaches to Atsal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziyah sovereign of Yehudah. And yhvh my Elohim shall come - all the set-apart ones with You.
6 And in that day it shall be: there is no light, it is dark.
7 And it shall be one day which is known to yhvh, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light.
8 And in that day it shall be that living waters flow from Yerushalayim, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea, in summer as well as in winter.
9 And yhvh shall be Sovereign over all the earth. In that day there shall be one yhvh, and His Name one.
